Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 10, 2026

Practice Nest helps people rehearse speech, dialogue, presentations, and classroom assignments. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Practice Nest, we may collect or store:

How We Use Information

We use information to provide sign-in, save your work, run practice and presentation sessions, support classroom features, show progress, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.

Services We Use

Practice Nest uses Firebase for authentication and app data, Cloudflare Pages for hosting, Resend for transactional emails such as invitations and deletion confirmations, Google Analytics for optional site analytics, and Google sign-in when you choose to continue with Google. Google Analytics is used only for basic site measurement after you opt in. We do not enable Google advertising features, and we do not send names, email addresses, classroom content, scripts, recordings, or grades to Google Analytics. If you enable optional AI features, content may be sent to the AI provider you select so that the feature can work.

Cookies and Analytics Choices

Practice Nest uses necessary browser storage and limited first-party cookies to keep the app working, remember settings, support sign-in, protect the service, and manage free usage limits. These necessary uses are part of running the app and are not used for ads.

Google Analytics is optional and is loaded only after you accept analytics. If you choose Necessary only, analytics stays off and Practice Nest attempts to clear existing Google Analytics cookies such as _ga. You can change your choice later from the Analytics choices link in the app footer. Google explains how Google Analytics may collect and process data on its Privacy Disclosures Policy and partner sites pages.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. In classroom features, teachers and students may see the information needed for that classroom, such as assignments, submissions, feedback, and grades. We may also share information with service providers only as needed to operate the app, comply with law, or protect users and the service.

Student and School Use

If Practice Nest is used for school, students should use it with permission from a parent, guardian, teacher, or school when required. Teachers and schools are responsible for making sure their classroom use follows their own rules and legal requirements.

Your Choices

You can update account settings in the app, sign out, or request deletion of your account and app data. Class teachers can permanently delete a class and its associated assignments, submissions, grades, recordings, and memberships; classes with students require confirmation through the teacher's verified email. You can also avoid optional AI features or remove any AI provider keys stored in your browser.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards such as authentication, database rules, and secure hosting settings. No internet service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, so users should keep account credentials private and avoid uploading sensitive information that is not needed for practice.

Changes

We may update this policy as Practice Nest changes. If the changes are important, we will make reasonable efforts to make them clear in the app or on this page.
